The Vincentian way is one of service to the community. They are dedicated to serving the greater community. To fulfill this mission, they engage in various activities and organize programs and events to reach the community around us on a local and international scale.

Poverty is one of the issues of which the Centre expresses deep concern. They research how they can bring an end to poverty. One of the actions they have taken to contribute to the cause is feeding the homeless. There are more homeless people than we realise. By providing them with food regularly, we can reach them and show them love.

The Vincentian community is particularly concerned with pertinent social issues, especially those of poverty and homelessness. One of the Centre's goals is to provide the necessary resources to aid the study of the causes of poverty and means of alleviating it in society.

Feeding the homeless, getting them off the streets and getting them back on their feet is a task that the Vincentian centre has taken on in its mission to better its immediate community and, by extension, the world, and we fulfill this task through different avenues. Some local organisations host events to reach and get food to the homeless.

One of such organisation is Agape Outreach. Agape Outreach provide meals for the homeless and hungry. It is a local that works to make a difference in the lives of people who are hurting, broken or disenfranchised.

This highest level of selfless love is what moves the Agape Outreach to reach out to those in need and show them that beyond the hurt, pain and loneliness, they are loved and respected. That is what they strive to achieve through this outreach. It is not affiliated with any church.

The Agape Outreach gives out free meals on the streets, helps to move people out of the streets, sets them up in homes, gives free food hampers to families in need, provides training in basic life skills, and so on.

The organisation needs volunteers. People who would work hand in hand with them to carry out these activities and create a fundamental change in society. The doors are open to you to volunteer.
